Sunday was the start of the Mevagissey Feast week a festival that originated hundreds of years ago ~ it was a purely religious festival where every denomination would would have a *feast day* , with childrens sports, feast tea and a procession through the streets. This has evolved into a week long of festivities finishing with a carnival and fireworks over the harbour!
We're back down again on Friday so hopefully I will have more pictures to show you then!
