In the Midnight Garden

I have a love affair with Moonstone ~ almost as much as labradorite..




 The third picture manages to capture the beautiful flash this stone has ~ it was difficult she was a very shy stone! The butterfly is embossed and then ~ using the ancient technique of Keum Boo I fused 23ct gold leaf across the wings ~ almost like the moonlight hitting the butterfly as it fluttered around the garden .....although I have a feeling butterfly's sleep ;0) ...obviously this one is magical !!

This necklace has just come back from the Birmingham Assay Office so is ready to list...... and was made before my muse decided to leave me for the Italian shores....
