Of course the main point of the day was the Easter Egg Trail for the children ~ a clipboard was given on arrival and we all walked around (hmm think children ran) around the beautiful gardens looking for coloured easter baskets. We had to find the names of the 10 children born to the Agar-Robartes family (owners of the Home before being passed onto the National Trust). Its always great fun and a chocolate egg was given as a prize so of course the children were determined to find them all!!

Easter Weekend
Not only did we have wonderful weather for our annual family trip to Lanhydrock House (owned by the national trust) but most of the family made it too!! Its tradition for pasties (picnic style ~ as in eaten out of paper!) sitting on a picnic rug ~ of course the weather can play a big part in all this but this year it was fantastic ~ you can see the blue skies in the picture above behind the flower ~ which I think is a Magnolia ~ feel free to correct me :0)
